Custom Puffy Stickers

Custom puffy stickers, also called bubble stickers, have a soft raised profile that gives printed designs a dimensional appearance. They can form themed stationery collections, decorative merchandise and coordinated promotional gift ranges. The term describes the raised product effect; the actual materials, construction and adhesive should be confirmed for each project.

Asia Supply Source helps brands, retailers and distributors source custom puffy stickers from China, coordinating design requirements, physical samples, backing layouts, retail packaging and production follow-up. A clear reference for the desired shape and feel is especially useful when comparing proposals.

Puffy sticker designs and collections

Begin with the audience and the artwork collection. A retailer may need a coordinated sheet of illustrations; a brand may need a logo-led assortment; an event project may need a small set distributed in individual packs. Keep the design count and finished selling unit clear.

  • Themed illustrations: coordinate original flowers, fruit, animals or other artwork around a collection.
  • Brand graphics: review whether logos, small lettering and fine detail remain readable at the intended finished size.
  • Matching merchandise: keep artwork versions and color references consistent when the collection includes other custom products.
  • Retail assortments: specify the designs and number of individual stickers included in each selling unit.

Use artwork you own or have permission to reproduce. Character or licensed-brand references require the relevant authorization; a concept image is a visual reference rather than confirmation of a particular licensed range.

Raised construction and artwork

The raised contour changes how an illustration looks and how much room it needs. Supply a separate outline for each sticker, identify narrow extensions or small detached details, and request confirmation of the working artwork requirements before approving a proof.

Materials and constructionRequested material details or a reference to assessAre face material, raised structure, liner and adhesive identified?

Do not select puffy stickers only by a photograph or a thickness description. Soft raised puffy stickers, hard resin-domed labels and EVA foam stickers may look dimensional but can use different constructions. Compare the actual sample and specification rather than treating the names as interchangeable.

Sheets and retail packaging

A puffy sticker collection needs both a usable backing layout and a defined pack. State the finished sheet dimensions, number of shapes, grouping and the number of sheets or individual pieces per pack. Allow the production department to confirm the spacing and cutting requirements for the proposed construction.

  • Backing artwork, orientation and any required display area around the stickers.
  • Single-design or mixed-design sheet layout, with clear quantities for each version.
  • Bulk supply or a proposed retail sleeve, header card or other agreed pack.
  • Pack dimensions, product identification and destination-market labeling requirements.
  • Packing that protects the raised surface from rubbing, distortion or unwanted adhesion during handling.

For general layout choices across other materials, see custom sticker sheets. A sheet is the delivery format; it does not by itself define a puffy construction.

Puffy sticker sample checks

An artwork proof can confirm arrangement and printing information, but it cannot establish the physical raised effect. Review a representative physical sample of the proposed construction and packaging before bulk approval.

  • Compare the raised shape, edge finish, profile and feel with the agreed reference.
  • Inspect the print on rounded areas, including small faces, lettering and color boundaries.
  • Peel representative shapes from the liner and check that narrow details remain intact.
  • Evaluate adhesion on the intended surface under agreed use, handling and removal conditions.
  • Check the complete retail pack, count, backing layout and protection of the raised surfaces.

Puffy sticker RFQ checklist

  • Original artwork, number of designs, color references and any reproduction authorization.
  • Finished dimensions of each sticker and the complete sheet or backing area.
  • Reference for the desired raised appearance, feel and construction.
  • Intended application surface, use conditions and any planned removal or reuse requirement.
  • Quantities by design and sheet version, identifying individual pieces, sheets, sets and packs separately.
  • Stickers or sheets per retail pack, proposed packaging and required labels.
  • Target market, intended age group where relevant, documentation needs, destination and required arrival date.

For example, a request for 1,000 packs is incomplete without the contents of each pack and the design split. Provide the pack definition rather than leaving the production department to infer the total number of stickers. Our RFQ preparation checklist helps organize the files and quantities.

Frequently asked questions

Are puffy stickers and bubble stickers the same product?

These names are often used for the same soft raised sticker style. Send an image or sample and confirm the construction because product names alone do not define the material or raised effect.

How are puffy stickers different from ordinary sticker sheets?

Puffy refers to the raised sticker effect. A sticker sheet is a layout and delivery format that may carry flat paper, film or puffy stickers. A puffy project therefore needs construction checks as well as sheet-layout approval.

Are puffy stickers the same as EVA foam stickers?

Not necessarily. EVA foam identifies a material, while puffy describes a raised effect. Confirm the actual construction. A product that fits both descriptions should be assessed as one specified product rather than assumed to be two separate types.

Can puffy stickers be removed and reused?

This should not be assumed. Adhesive, surface, construction and handling affect removal and reuse. Include any such requirement in the brief and evaluate the proposed sample on the intended surface.

Can the collection be developed for children?

Identify the destination market, intended age group, design, materials, pack and any required assessment or documentation before confirming the project. Appearance alone does not establish child-safety compliance, and decorative puffy stickers should not be treated as skin-transfer tattoos.

How are quantity, price and sample timing confirmed?

They depend on the design count, dimensions, raised construction, sheet layout, packing and quantity split. Share those details and the required arrival date so project-specific options can be assessed.

Compare flat paper stickers, material-specific EVA foam stickers and multi-design sticker sheets. For artwork transferred onto skin, review the separate custom temporary tattoo product requirements. Return to the sticker overview for the wider range.
